It has finally arrived, the Fore Precision Fuel Hat for the 05+ Mustang GT and GT500. For those not aware of what this component is or why it's needed let us explain.

This Fuel Hat is where your stock fuel pump resides, on the Mustang GT the fuel hat is only capable of supporting one fuel pumps. Therefore if you are going to add a Forced Induction Setup such as a Supercharger, Turbocharger or even Nitrous you will need more fuel. In order to do so, you must add an extra fuel pump. While many companies simply will sell you an additional fuel pump with a clamp and a Y-Fitting, that is not the ideal way to do it. The ideal way is to have a Fuel Hat designed to support two fuel pumps, better yet this Fuel Hat supports not only 2 Fuel Pumps but even a THIRD FUEL PUMP if later down the road you need it. (Only cars making 800++HP), which also includes heavily modified Shelby GT500s!!

This Fuel Hat comes complete with all the instructions and hardware necessary for a complete install to run up to two fuel pumps. If you are looking to run 3 Fuel Pumps you must also purchase the install kit and a Zone 5 Mega Driver Module. These are all sold through us.

Another thing to consider is that Ford has a Fuel Pump Driver Module(FPDM) for the fuel pump, however if you are upgrading to run 2 Fuel Pumps you can't just buy a separate FPDM and wire it in because the wiring and connectors are not sold separately, so you must purchase the Zone 5 MDM which will not only take care of the 2nd Fuel Pump but it can support even a 3rd Fuel Pump. (The GT500 comes stock with a Dual Fuel Pump Setup therefore has Two FPDMs, however if you are looking to run a 3rd Fuel Pump you must also purchase the Zone 5 Mega Driver Module).

Testing has shown that the Fore Precision Fuel Hat with 2 Ford GT Fuel Pumps and a Zone 5 Mega Driver Module can easily support over 500rwhp. When ran in the 3 Fuel Pump Configuration with the Zone 5 Mega Driver Module it has been proven to support over 700rwhp!!

  •  PPRV and restrictive in tank "Y" is eliminated. Pumps outlets are designed for optimal fuel delivery.
  •  Three pairs of 12 gauge conductors for fuel pumps for direct wiring to FPDM(s). Allows your Ford GT supercar pumps to operate without losses from undersized OEM wires. (conductors conform to MIL-W-16878/4)
  •  Retains OEM fuel level sending unit with 18 gauge through conductors. (MIL-W-16878/4)
  •  No welding or caulk used in assembly or manufacturing. Full billet components use o-rings, OEM seals, and epoxy sealed through conductors
  • Submersible fuel line included. (conforms to SAE 30R10)
  •  Optional stock fuel line adapter available (only for running two pumps)
  •  Return port for running third pump in a return configuration for nitrous fuel supply
